Cellist Shang-Hua Chou brings with her extensive international orchestral experience, having formerly served as a cellist at Theater Erfurt in Germany.
Her performance career has seen her invited to the prestigious Weiwuying International Music Festival (Contemporary Music Platform) and collaborating with renowned organizations such as the Academy of Taiwan Strings (ATS), New Art Inc., the Taipei Male Choir Foundation, and the NTSO National Taiwan Youth Symphony Orchestra. She is also currently a member of the Aria Cello Quartet and TimeArt Studio.
Chou holds a bachelor’s degree from the Taipei National University of the Arts and a Master of Music degree from the State University of Music Trossingen in Germany. With over a hundred public concerts and opera performances to her credit, she is known for her superb technique and the vibrant, nuanced musical colors she brings to every performance.
Currently based in Singapore, Chou is dedicated to cello education and remains an active performer on the Asian music stage.
